By popular demand! Our popular ready to decorate cupcakes are now available in VEGAN vanilla sponge! These cakes are the same shape and size as our standard vanilla cupcakes, but naturally bake to a slightly paler colour due to the lack of protein in the recipe. The cupcake cases have a 50mm base diameter by 38mm high. Carefully hand-packed into sturdy outer boxes containing 24 cupcakes, all in silver foil cases. The cakes will stay good to eat for 5 weeks from baking, but as they are so small will dry out quickly once left in the open air. For best results, keep well wrapped in the original packaging. As these are a special item these are made on request so please allow an extra 72 hours from your time of purchase for these to be dispatched. The Cake & Sugarcraft Store Ready Made Sponge Cakes

Ready Made Vanilla Sponge Cakes Professional Quality and Fantastic Taste Vanilla Genoese is a soft, moist eating cake which will keep in good condition for at least five weeks. It also freezes and defrosts very well. Supplied in round cakes and cut squares. This Genoese is easy to cut to any shape, especially if the sponge has been chilled in the fridge or freezer first to make it firmer. Use a cake board or similar as a template and a sharp serrated knife to cut your shape - just make sure to keep the knife upright! Each cake is individually wrapped and packed in sturdy boxes to protect it during its journey to you. Just remove the baking parchment from the base of the cake, and your sponge is ready to decorate. Square cakes come with two layers in the box, both 1.25” deep - use the two layers sandwiched with buttercream and jam to make one standard depth celebration cake. The round sponge cakes are baked individually in round tins, and left as one layer, approx. 2.5" deep. This means you have the choice to split the round cakes either once or twice before adding your filling. NB Round cakes are baked in a tin of the size advertised, slight shrinkage will occur during baking. The shelf life given is for the un-decorated cake base in the original packaging - once decorated, the life will depend very much on the type of fillings and icings used.
